AREFLH AND THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
 

The following text details the use of personal data collected by AREFLH: the reasons for their collection, their protection, and finally what rights you have over yours in particular (right of access, rectification or deletion).

 

 

Why do we keep your data?

AREFLH uses the personal data received and collected strictly within the framework of its professional relations. The association collects personal data relating to your profession or organisation to enable you to access our newsletters, publications, events and other services, as part of our action in the broad fruit and vegetable and food sector.

AREFLH uses this data in full compliance with EU legislation (General Data Protection Regulation -RGPD-, EU Regulation 2016/79) and French law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms.

  

What personal data may be kept by AREFLH?

AREFLH only keeps the data that is strictly necessary to facilitate its professional relations with third parties:

  • Name and first name
  • Name of the organization you work for
  • Position in the organization
  • Country of the organization
  • Address of the organization
  • E-mail address
  • Business telephone number
  • Spoken Language
     

We will never sell, trade, or give your data to other organizations.

  

How long do we keep personal data?

 AREFLH does not keep personal data for longer than is necessary to carry out the action for which it was collected.

  

How is your data protected?

AREFLH and its technical partners (OVH, Circe, Agerix, Acymail and MailChimp) guarantee the security of your personal data and their compliance with the GDPR:

  • By a limited number of people with access: 3 people for active data (event registrations, newsletter, regular professional partners), and one person for inactive data).
  • The digital information retained is encrypted and saved by a password.
     

The servers storing and backing up your digital data are hosted in Europe.

  

Your rights to your personal data

In application of the law nº 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and liberties, you have the right to oppose (art. 26 of the law), access (art. 34 to 38 of the law) and rectify (art. 36 of the law) data concerning you.

Thus, you may require an update or deletion of information concerning you that is inaccurate, incomplete, equivocal, outdated or whose collection or use, communication or retention is prohibited.
