The consummer, the quality and the distribution

The fruits and vegetables is fun, freshness, nature and it is good for health.
This unanimous, or nearly so, the medical profession and dieticians.
Despite this, consumption is down in several European countries.
Often lacking in convenience for consumers in a hurry, suppliers abound of innovation in this area (4th and 5th range).
Suspected to be expensive, recent studies show that they aren't compared to other basic foods.
But in fact, what is quality?

• France : the hard-discount and the greengrocers conquer market shares

Handicaped by prices always superior to the other circuits, supermarkets are in trouble, with more than 6 points of market share lost for five years. Hypers appropriates a third of the sales, in volume, and stabilize for four years. The great winners, helped by competitive prices and\or nearness values, are the hard-discount and the greengrocers.
