Assembly of European Regions producing Fruit, Vegetable and Plants

EUplatform

Since 2007 AREFLH has been a member of the EU Platform on Diet, Physical Activity and Health.

is a forum for European-level organisations, ranging from the food industry to consumer protection NGOs, willing to commit to tackling current trends in diet and physical activity. The Platform is composed of the following members.

The idea is that, led by the Commission, the platform will provide an example of coordinated action on this problem by different parts of society that will encourage national, regional or local initiatives across Europe.

Each year, AREFLH commits to various actions with the Platform, to encourage the public to consume more fruits and vegetables.

Our actions :

  • Every month, in our newsletter, we relay original initiatives promoting F & L
  • Having a constant activity on Twitter (@areflh) with information, recipes, tips that make you want to eat more fruits and vegetables
  • The publication of Regio'Com 2018, a handbook for the promotion of F&V  among AREFLH members but also beyond our network.
  • Having a dynamic website that always attracts a wider audience
  • We participate in the various meetings of the platform, throughout the year

Subscribe to our newsletter to be kept informed of our activity to stimlate consumption of F&V!
